Contribute to Our Blog Kim & Manny, GWA Volunteers Losing your job is a life-changing experience. It's a chapter in our lives we don't really care to rewrite very often. Yet we learn something from that experience - something that hardens us, humbles us, or even helps us to understand ourselves and others a little better. Life is full of trials and errors and the best way to learn is by sharing those lessons with others. Do you have a story about losing a job, looking for a job, or finding a job? We'd like you to share it with us and with our website visitors from across the U.S. and around the world.
You can write your story, send us an audio recording on a wave file, or even send a video. We'll post it on the G*W*A Blog. Here's two simple guidelines:
1. Try to keep your written story to 500 words or less. Write it first, regardless how long it is. Then keep editing until you get it down-to-size.
2. Limit your audio or video story to 3-5 minutes.
If you want to remain anonymous; we'll just post your first name and last initial, city, and state (or country). When you're ready to get started, just click on the "tell your story" graffiti wall or email us at:
